BATTERY ENDURANCE

After a year and 6 months use, the battery no longer lasts a long as it used to. When fully charged these days, it hardly last up to 1 hour. I intend ordering another one from HP.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible waste of money

Within 9 months, the life of my dv9000 battery was under an hour. 18 months after purchase, the life is under 10 minutes. This is on a laptop that is plugged in 99.9% of the time.
Given the number of people writing similar things, I'd say there is a design flaw.
Avoid at all cost!

A good replacement battery

This battery was purchased as a replacement for the original battery, now three years old, and this new battery is a good one; it is equiped with eight cells. However, I would have preferred the option to purchase a replacement battery with more cells and, thus, a discharge cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The battery does not stay charged for a long time. I am disappointed. I have had to replace a battery more frequently than expected.

Standard replacement only

The standard replacement is all thats available when better technology is here. I have multiple DV7t laptops that have alternative batteries available with up to 6 hours.
This one will get you 3 hours at best.

Great Battery!

What you'd expect from a battery, you get from this battery. It lasts at least three hours, plenty of time to get what you need done before even coming close to it running out of power. I definitely recommend this battery.
