I love the large screen, that was the biggest selling point for me. The book was pretty clear in explaining how to use it's different features. It takes very good pictures. The one thing that's keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't come with a rechargable battery. That was a disappointment.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: Short battery life

love it i have a d30 SLR and this and this is buyfar the same or better.easy to use. i love them bouth canon did it agan.

I miss my A610 over the A2000

"The one thing lacking in the new Canon PowerShot A20000 IS is there is no in-camera video editing as in the older A610 was capable of. It is disappointing that the A20000 has no in-camera movie editing capability."

I am a professional photographer in NY.
I've owned over 200 cameras and over 50 digital cameras in the past.
I purchased A2000IS for everyday easy photo jobs. It was cheap enough and small enough.
The photos came out fine.

BUT THE BIG PROBLEM!
Dusts keep go in to the LCD. I don't know how and why, but everytime I take out the camera from its protective camera case, I see dusts INSIDE the LCD viewfinder.

This is my first digital camera and it is alot of fun. it is easy to used and the pictures are great, and it has alot of good fetures to play with!! and a good price.

I HAVE BOUGH THREE CANON POWERSHOT ALREADY.My sister told me about canon's,and bough the canon sd 1000,and did think that was the best untill i got this canon powershot a 2200 is,and got it this month Aug12/2011. now i think the canon poweshot are the best.
