Why didn't someone think of this sooner

My family just loves the new GE Cafe Fridge we just bought. First, it's a looker from the outside (and inside). Second, the 29 cubic feet of storage is HUGE by any measure. Lastly, the hot water dispenser in the door is just brillaint. Why didn't someone think of this sooner. It's my favorite feature.

I love this fridge! I love the Hot, delicious filtered water , rather than having to use the Microwave, or kettle. Makes Chai time an even more special moment!!!

Cools food with internal combustion engine noise.

It does what a fridge should do, keeps food cold. There are some good features but they come with a price and that is the noise!!! It sounds like an gas engine powers the thing. It is so noisy. The cable TV repair man asked while he was programming the TV, "What is that? The fridge?!" It is so much noisier than the dish washer and i have never experienced that before. I can hear it running upstairs. Other than that, cold food and water from the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good

Only had this fridge for a short time and so far so good. It is very spacious inside. We had a side by side before so its going to take a little to get use to the french door and freezer below. Everything seems to be working fine except it does seem a little noisy at times when the compressor runs. If it gets any louder than it is right now I might have to get it serviced but for now we'll just wait and see. Other than that we like it.
