GE Quality Shows...Everytime!

The Quality of this GE Wine Cooler shows! This is the second Wine Cooler that we have purchased recently. After recently remodeling the Dining Room we searched for a wine cooler that would hold at least 30 bottles of wine. My wife located several Brands that fit the category of style and capacity. Our first purchase looked amazing online but after the product arrived we were completely unimpressed and returned it to the store. We sought after another wine cooler when we came across this GE Brand wine cooler. This GE Wine Cooler looked impressive in the photos, when it arrived we were so very impressed! Compared to the other brand that we returned, the QUALITY of the GE wine cooler surpassed the other by a long shot. We could instantly see the difference in the Quality of the seals, wooden shelves and the front door. My wife loved the smoked glass and how well built the wooden racks are. I love the curvature of the front door, the quality of the seals (energy saver!) and how quiet it is as it's running!
If I could add anything to this GE Wine Cooler to enhance it for my Family...it would be a lock on the front door, due to our mobile 15 month old daughter.
This GE Wine Cooler is well built and they definitely had Quality in mind when the manufactured it! Thank You GE for Impressing our Family again!

Adequit for what I wanted

I was limited as to what I could purchase do to measurements of my opening. The GE beverage center met my needs. I like the wood interior shelves and the electronic temp readout. What I dont like it you have to turn the light on manually or just leave it on it order to see your interior, and it really only lights up the top 2 shelves. Also the temp only goes down to 41 degrees which is not icy cold for those items like beer and soft drinks. But its doable.

This is the second beverage cooler purchased replacing a similar three-year old unit installed by the homebuilder. The first unit stopped cooling after only 3 years of light duty use because of a leak in the refrigerant system. Purchased another because the cost to repair was more than a new unit and the cabinet was built to accommodate this particular unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beverage Fridge

This is horrible. Had it for 15 months and it is not reaching the temperature and never has. It is also frosting up in the back. Have barely used the fridge since it in the basement

Dead just over one year

We purchased this beverage center (along with several other GE appliances) just over a year ago for our kitchen remodel. Just barely out of warranty and the beverage center is dead. Let’s hope the other appliances last longer than the 16 months this one did.

Bought it specifically to match GE advantium oven. It does not. It has a cheap looking silver tone instead of stainless steel

A nice addition of refrigerator space

We use this mainly as a second refrigerator. We set the thermostat at 42 degrees. We like to be able to see the food without opening the door. The price was much lower than most beverage centers.
