Bought this to replace my 20 year opld GE which was still working. Only complaint is, no doubt, unique to me but would prefer shelves in the door with no deviders.

We brought this freezer when our old freezer went bad. Was looking for a bigger freezer that was not automatic defrost. These are hard to find. Really do like the adjustable shelves on the door. So far the freezer has been doing good. Did notice some build up of ice but have been stocking with items that we have baked, etc. Wish that the door was interchangeable on the opening and that more shelves were adjustable. Have had other GE products that have given good service.

We bought this a month ago and we've been generally happy with it.
Pros: We like the capacity, the fact that it is manual defrost (because foods last longer), the depth of the door shelves, and the separate ice cream compartment.
Con: We wish each door shelf went all the way across (instead of 2 separate shelves across the width of the door).
I would recommend this to a friend!
