Not as fast as my 2 other all-in-ones but, for the price, am very pleased with the purchase. Print quality is very good, speed is acceptable for its application. I would definitely buy it again.

Had a Kodak all in one for many years and it stop printing . Great all in one but not as fast as the Brother printer. Kodak had a better photo printer . Brother printer goes through ink fast and they are not cheep. I would have bought another Kodak if they still made them.Brother printer has a bad time of feeding photo paper . Called the help desk and was told to buy thinner photo paper but it still feeds more than one sheet at a time.

Great printer

So far, no problems with this printer. Read that the device was noisy and wasted too much ink, but that has not been the case with me. Love the duplex function only wish that it had duplex scanning also. My only complaint is that when printing from my cell phone while selecting individual pages causes the printer to hang. Only option then is to reboot by pulling the power cord. I do not use this function often though...

This computer goes offline CONSTANTLY. I literally have to completely uninstall it and re-install it to get it to work. I have done all the trouble shooting and even their own app will say it's online and you go to print and it says "offline" I have 2 of these and put both of them in the garage and started using my old printers...at least they work. I only bought wireless because my kids are getting older and need to print stuff for school so I thought this would be easier...boy was I wrong. If you read the reviews online (not on this website) you will see A LOT of people have this issue.

Good, but...

Functions well for a home office printer; however, when one ink cartridge runs out (e.g., black cartridge), the printer will not print at all. I have had some color printers in the past where you could compensate by printing in blue (for example), bypassing the empty black ink cartridge while using only the remaining color cartridges. This is useful for those people who try to extend the life of ink cartridges for everyday home use and don't want to constantly replace cartridges. So if you're looking for a cheap printer that will allow you to keep using your printer even when one ink cartridge is low/empty, this is not the one to buy.

Good, basic AIO

I've used most of the features. Haven't had the need to fax anyone, but because our house has a FAX & TAD elsewhere, had to set the Brother MFC to Manual so it didn't mess up the tel line. Double-sided printing is sweet! Had an Epson Expressions AIO before. The Brother SMOKES it in same rez scan speed. The J475 isn't advertised as a PhotoPrinter - because it's not. If you need a PhotoPrinter, buy one. Brother sell 'em. Basic AIOs do a pretty dang good job at printing, but the ink dots per inch (DPI) is lower than a dedicated photoprinter. The higher the DPI, the sharper the image.
