I like the design, but I find It slow. Also have trouble with it pulling more than one sheet of paper from the paper tray even after flipping the paper to separate. We have had trouble with the clarity of the printing sometimes and have to clean it numerous times. And don't plan on using any cheaper ink- It won't let you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Copier is a lemon. I have spent almost two hours on the phone with your technicians. The copier is currantly at one of you dealers (Brooksville FL) for repairs. Hopefully they will declare it to be the piece of junk that I think it is.

Wireless Installation issues on win 8 better download latest driver package from their support website before installation. Goes Offline very quick , annoying Paper tray just average - fragile I believe more people buy, they will keep improving the software and make it better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wish I could have bought another J8 for the hard wire network (even though it died after 2 years). This unit is wi-fi or usb only. It is great, when it can be seen, but having to re-install the printer once a week is getting old. I have it assigned its own IP address in the router, like all the systems in the house. The printer says it is connected, but no one can see it. Not too happy.

Brother Printer - All in One

I am very pleased with the printer, setup was easy to do, configuring easier to do with the LCD display. Ran a test FAX, it worked flawless, ran some tests making it print on both sides of the paper, that went without any problems. I like the fact that ink costs is much less than the printer it replaced plus the ability to change only the cartridge needed instead of having to buy expensive ink cartridges because you ran out of one color. Would I buy it again, yes!!
