Was easy to set up and use wireless, My first wireless printer and I really like it, Faster and clearer than I thought it would be for the money

Quality Printer Suitable for Home or Professional

I purchased this Brother Printer after my roommate moved out. I previously had a Kodak and wanted something in the same price and quality range, but wanted the convenience of the 4 cartridge setup. I liked the Kodak, but I didn't like having to replace an empty color cartridge just to print black and white. After some research I settled on this relatively inexpensive Brother. What really sold it for me was the fact that I could replace color/black cartridges individually and that the cartridges can be found really inexpensively online. I love this printer. The quality is great for documents and photos, it's compact, wireless, has a feeder tray - I just am really happy with it. My other printer had a top load paper tray and things were constantly falling off the shelf above the printer into the feed tray and mucking things up. This one has a bottom load tray that is much more accessible and makes changing paper sizes a snap. I love that I can scan to my laptop over wireless, because about 2 years ago I started scanning all my receipts and other paperwork to go as paperless as possible. This machine makes that so simple and fast.

I like this Printer, it prints fast, and good quality. Of course I have used the other features as of yet, so can't comment on them. That is only reason gave 4 Star instead of 5. Price is very good for the value.

Satisfied for the price

This is the first "Inkjet All-in-One" I've bought. So I figured I would just get the cheapest thing on sale at Best Buy. For the price, I was expecting it to be a piece of #?@%, but I have been satisfactorily surprised. So far it has handled every job I've given it to do. Even the cost of replacing an ink cartridge wasn't painful. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay $20 for a "USB" cable but I'm over that now. The point is, that I needed this tool and I think the investment was worth it. Somehow though it interferes with my "AVAST" anti-virus. I had to un-install the anti-virus to straighten things out, but overall I'm still glad I bought this.

I used it for a few years then it began to give me problems. My calls to customer service did not go well. Finally one of the functions I believe it was the fax failed ,so I purchased an HP hoping I could experience a better service . My first Brother was great.This one fell short and Customer service needs improvment

Good not perfect

It's a good printer. Easy to set up. Had to load whole software package to get it to set up. It doesn't print pictures very well but I didn't buy it for that. The brother printer I had before this one printed really well pictures and everything. MFC JD- 834 I think it was. But touch screen broke and that was needed to load ink into the printer. So I bought this one without the touch screen. I like brothers ink system loading individual inks into the machine. Its a good basic printer.

This is like printers for dummies and I am one of them. If you use this phrase pay me. This is a great rebound from my old printer and the search to find something easy. The lasting of the ink will amaze you too! Check this out though I brought it because of the price and had no idea what I was getting into. Thanx brother!

I really like my printer or 3 in one,is really convenient,specially when u are an a harrie,and print so clearly,the fax is fast,and the scanner so neat,what can I say,i just love it.
