Replaced poor quality Printer

I replaced an Epson printer horrible ink consumption. Nowhere close to specs. Windows 8.1 Upgrade came out and removed connection to you printer. Reinstalling it from the disk failed, downloading drivers from you site worked excellently. it seems to be quicker and more responsive without the additional Nuance software. I have had a Brother printer previously and was quite happy with its performance which is why I chose it this time. Longevity, efficiency, and reliability remain to be seen.

Not happy with my printer

I hooked up this printer to be wireless, LAN, and the first time I tried to scan a check copy to my bank for a deposit, the machine would not scan the check. I have not tried the fax yet, but I am anticipating problems there also.
I had a Brother all in one printer several years ago and was so happy with it, it was dropped by a moving company and that was the end of that machine. I only wish I had it back. This new Brother printer is nothing near the quality of the old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My best printer ever

I purchased this type of printer because my Father in Law recommended it. I love it because you can replace a single color instead of the entire printer unit. This actually saves me money.
I had to replace the entire ink cartridge even though three out of the four colors were still there but it was unusable when lacking a color.
I have only had this printer for a short time but I must agree with my Father in Law that it rocks when it comes to printers.

Fantastic Product; fantastic price

First time buyer of a brother product. I was skeptic but this brother printer does it all and made me a lifer. It is used for homework and small projects. Love the convenience of wireless, the scanning capability and so far, I have been impressed with the longevity of the ink cartridges. I know, it has only been a few months, but I can't say enough about the good things of this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
