So far this has been the best printer I have ever owned. If there is one concern it would be the ability to get photo paper to load. If I put more than one sheet in the tray it will pull up two or more sheets. Even with one sheet it seem to be a game of chance if it will load the paper. I'm using Kodak glossy paper so I doubt its the paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brother printers were recommended to me by a guy who serviced printers for 15 years. He said Brother was the least problematic (Epson was the worst, in his opinion).
I have two of these printers and have had absolutely no problems. Cartridges are reasonable and widely available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, I am happy with this printer. I use it to print checks and find that it will take two at a time periodically. It may be because they are heavier stock.

Low end price, high quality machine

Easy to assemble. You can copy, fax, scan, print photos and do it wired or wireless. Is a good little workhorse which you can get during sales at an amazingly low price. Ink costs about the same as other inkjet printers. Previous similar Brother models have stood the test of time. I'm sure this one will too.
