Lots of problems

My last Brother printer was great, so I bought another one. (Home use) This one has been tons of trouble. To make things worse the Customer Support has been very poor. I got someone in India that I could barely understand and she just pawned me off saying it wasn't a problem with their product. This is the last Brother printer I'll buy.

Love Brother, Hate this Printer!

I could not make a copy on this printer without connecting to my wireless router and it would not connect to my home network. I returned it.

great printer for a great price

The printer was super easy to set up and works really well for my limited printing needs. I bought the Brother b/c I only need a printer occasionally, but when I do need one, I need it to be reliable. The
Brother seems to be the best one for someone with my printing needs. The ink lasts longer than other brands when it is not used regularly. If I had not used my HP for a month or longer, I would get an error message about being out of ink even if I had replaced the ink the last time I had used it. That gets really expensive and wasteful. So, needless to say, I am very pleased with my Brother Inkjet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than Hotel Papa

This printer works great. The software installed easily and completely. Wireless networking is excellent. Even if it's offline before I print, it automatically reconnects when I print. All things my old printer (I guess I can't mention the name) stunk at. And it doesn't clean itself as often as the old one.
4 stars because - color printing is not very vivid and the clock time/date won't reset when I restart it after turning it off.
It's great for what I want it for - reliability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Versatile Product

We have been very pleased with the versatility and ease of use of this cost-effective multitasker. In addition to printing quickly, scanning documents and photos has also been a surprisingly simple process. We especially love the wireless connections - one less power cord for our surge protector!

worst purchase ever

I've had nothing but hassles since installing my mfc-j475dw. First, it went into "error mode", and the only way to fix it was to uninstall and the reinstall the printer. What a hassle! Now, it won't print color landscape without putting 12 vertical faint lines in each print. Unacceptable. I will be replacing this product as soon as I run out of the very expensive ink. And, yes, I have tried ALL the fixes. Nothing worked. End of this review.

I haven't had it long enough to make a good evaluation. I've only printed and it prints fine. I had to use a USB cable to set it up because I couldn't set it up with wifi.
