This is a great printer. It is easy to set up and install on a local computer and the wireless connection is even easier. It prints right out of the gate without having to fight it and fix paper jams. For the price it is the only printer that prints double sided without issue. A must buy if you are in the market for a new printer or copier.

I like Brother. One reason is that the ink last long and I do a lot of printing. However, the dvd disc went bad and could not upload to all my computers to network them all. Also would like to have a email address that the printer could receive printing jobs from any of my computers anywhere. I believe HP offers that type of service.

Good Printer for the money.

I set it for saving ink and my colored photos were terrible. Reset fixed the problem. I mainly do black/white and my MFC J240C was easier to use. I downloaded the full manual and can find my way around now. I still don't understand how to connect my network to my daughter's but I'm working on it. This printer is fasterthan my old one and copies are clear and scanning is easy. I give it a 9.

The printer works great. The first one did not but it was replaced to my home in two days from Brot

The only thing I would like see changed is to be able to change the printed font size from websites. Mine is so small that I can hardly read it.

This is a multi-function printer with wireless features. Unlike older models, this wireless was easy to set up. I like the display, and I was able to customize most of the settings without reading the manual. The automatic sheet feeder is handy, and the printer works well as a standalone printer. The quality of pictures was acceptable. The black ink cartridge holds more ink than the color cartridges, and each cartridge can be bought separately.

Good value for the price

Having had HP printers, this is my first Brother. The print quality is very good. It's fairly fast. To load paper seems cumbersome, because you have to remove the tray to add paper, remove the tray to slide a lever to switch to photo paper, and I am used to two trays you load from the back. Not a show stopper, but cumbersome no less. Overall the machine is good. Ink refill price is reasonable, and I'm hoping it lasts a long time. I've not had good luck with printers lasting very long.
