In my opinion this Brother printer is a terrific value for personal or light business use. The two sided printing feature is very useful, set up is easy and straight forward.

Great choice of printers

This printer prints fast and accurate, easy to setup, very easy to use, versatile, very affordable, and the wireless features work great (but I also have a powerful router).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Questionable value

The Brother all-in-one inkjet printer makes very fine copies, and serves well as a primary printer. That said, however, it doesn't do such a great job with eenvelopes, and the paper tray is made of brittle plastic and is complicated to adjust to different sized materials, If I could do it over, I doubt I would purchase this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have purchased 3 of these copiers. My first copier stopped doing Color Copies but the Black still worked. That is when I purchased my second copier as I felt that the repairs when be almost as expensive as a new copier. I purchased the same copier as I was pleased with all its functions except the SCANNER. The Scanner was very selective on which items it would scan. I feel that the Price of this Copier is reasonable and would recommend purchasing one. I have expressed this to my friends.

Great Printer

This model replaced a 5 year old HEAVILY abused Brother printer. Brother puts out a wonderful product. This model seems to use even less ink than my previous "ink sipper". Love the fact that it has seperate tanks for each color, you run out of yellow? You replace yellow....not a tri-color cartridge. Wireless printing works fantastic from anywhere in the house, now if I could train the dog to retrieve print outs without slobbering all over them, i'll be in business. All in all, this is one fantastic all in one machine. Very good color output, great color or black and white copier / scanner. Have purchased a few extra of these for gifts to family members....

I purchased this printer a year ago and was delighted at the quality, performance, clarity of the printer. In fact I thought it was the perfect buy ever.
One day the printer stop scanning to the computer, I called tech many times and they were extremely helpful, but could never fix the problem. They even sent me to speak with the advanced group. It could not do it. But I liked this printer so much I connected it to my computer using the wire. It work perfect again. Just wish I didn't need the wire.
