This heater well built and beautiful. Was the hit of a recent garden party! Everyone clustered under it to bath in its radiant heat. Plan to buy another one!

A Perfect Purchase!

Ordered this patio heater through the website of a national home improvement store. It arrived two days early which was a great first impression.
I assembled it that night and it was very easy. Thought I had a problem when I couldn't account for four of the bolts and nuts, but then found the small print that said they may already be installed in the base if you had the sandbox model - turns out I did have that model (without realizing it) and sure enough, I found the bolts already pre-installed on the base unit. Because I had the sandbox model, it was suggested in the assembly instructions that I should add sand right at the beginning. Fortunately, I did have a bucket of sand in my basement, but I would have been bummed if I had to stop the assembly and run to a store to get sand. Also, when adding the sand, I was having a hard time filling the entire sandbox chamber until I came up with the idea of spinning it to get the sand to move away from the center hole.
I had read that assembling the top heat reflector could be tricky. I used your suggestion of leaving the bolts loose (and I mean very loose) until all were installed. This worked perfectly and all went just fine.
Pleased to report that the unit started on my very first push of the button. And it is wonderful to enjoy our stone terrace now for a much longer season. Thank you so very much for a high quality product.

I bought this heater to put under our patio gazebo. The heat radiates downward and is perfect for sitting around on chilly night. Its also very stylish.

Easy to Assemble - Easy to Light - Lots of Heat

The heater was well packaged and was very easy to assemble with one very minor issue. In the instructions section of the manual, there was no mention of the required AAA battery for the igniter. I had to dig into the troubleshooting section of the manual to identify the problem. Once the battery was installed, the heater ignited easily and our patio quickly became very comfortable.
