Good heater for the price

Just bought this from Amazon. Assembly was easy, had to shim one of the internal legs so it would stand straight. Good heat output and easy to light.

Bought this for my husband's December birthday so we could enjoy our back deck in the winter. Works great! Throws off lots of heat. Super happy with it!

East to assemble/operate

Assembled on my own; took about an hour, with easy-to-follow instructions. Then the big test! Would it work? No problem ... started first time! Looking forward to using it in the cooler winter months.

The heater element warped badly after only 1 day

Our unit's heater screen warped badly after only a few hours of use on the first day. The good news is we were able to have a replacement unit shipped with no questions asked. The bad news is this should have lasted much longer than 2 hours. The paint finish even started to smoke and melt. This is not the quality we expected based on everyone else's reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
