Exceptional value and quality!

I purchased this heater to replace a failing heater purchased long ago from a warehouse. After a lot of research I concluded this was the best blend of features, workmanship, and utility. I have not been disappointed. The heater is used on a deck in Northwest Montana. It throws enough heat to take the edge off a winter night for a cigar or to watch the night sky.
The box arrived intact with all components well protected. Assembly was straight forward after reading the instructions. Total assembly time was about an hour. The parts fit as they should. Purging the gas line took much longer than expected. Once purged the heater started easily. I had to purge it twice more for some reason- checked all fittings for leaks and refastened the regulator and find it now takes two or three clicks of the starter to fire it up.
The radius heated is not as large as I would prefer but it has worked well on some very cold nights. Anything above a 5mph wind disrupts the flame although it still heats. Overall I am very pleased and feel my money was well spent.

a good purchase

I have had the heater for about two weeks. Assembly for a major Klutx only took 90 minutes. The instructions were excellent. We use the heater on our porch and it keeps us very comfortable. We typically do not use the high setting unless there is a wind.

Quality patio heater

The product is great but putting it together was a serious hassle because of the unclear and poorly detailed instructions. The pictures in the manual are blurry and the writing is not concise or easy to follow. Good product but annoying to construct.

Still not working

After a challenging assembly process, maneuvering through difficult-to-understand instructions and typos, I finally have our patio heater assembled. However, I can't get it to turn on. It's quite possible it's user error or a problem with the propane tank, but very frustrating nonetheless. While it looks very nice, it is not yet usable. Thankfully it was a gift, so at least we're not out of any money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Heater

The product was easy to put together and was done quickly. It lit easily the first time and every time since. Does not use as much propane as I first thought it would and keeps us warm on the porch. Great product and my wife and I are glad we purchased it! Would purchase it again!!
