Not so good

I am not that pleased with this printer. The nozzles seem to clog and it takes a lot of ink to do head cleanings and nozzle cleanings. It has had to be replaced twice in a two year period and I have not used it that much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My 3rd printer; excellent results

I have not taken many photos for a couple of months; but intend to shortly. My experience with Epson is second to none; the color is so accurate and I use a D-90 with superb to magnificant results. Thank you Epson. TC

Nice printer, I have never had a problem with it.
Ink is over priced and its hard to find inks for this printer only issue.

poor printer

After battling with clogged nozzles and spending hundreds of dollars on ink I finally replaced with the Epson 1430 and am much happier. In regards to the R1900 even with regular printing, the nozzles became clogged and by going through the cleaning process I ran through cartridges at an unbelievable rate. I would NEVER recommend this printer.

Ink runs out fast

I am a pro photographer .I have printed around 30 pages A4 and the inks run out. I have bought a new pack of inks and they finished very quickly again ! (The quality of the print is excellent )
The numbers you give for cartridge/page are very misleading
I regret for buying this printer .I rarely use it now.

Great print results. My only problem is ink usage. It runs out fast. Be prepared to keep a lot of ink on hand. The ink carts are way too small for a printer of this paper size. Other than that, print quality is pleasantly surprising.

I will admit, the photos are beautiful, but the amount of time I waste trying to get the paper to feed correctly really isn't worth it. It has a major feeding problem (I've hit the reset button 12 times since I've been on this site and still haven't got a print) so it's a trade off. If you have time to waste and can sit by the printer and push the button by the glowing amber light, you'll eventually get a good print....maybe!

Love my R1900. It prints beautiful photo's. I also print on other substrates which is the main reason I bought this printer.
Wish I could purchase the ink locally, however Epson is very prompt when I order ink from them.
