Used the R1900 very rarely but when I have the results are great. The only drawback is the ink need to be replaced very quickly

Very pleased with the results from this printer. I will say that everything in my system is profiled with calibration tools. So, what i see is what I get. My only complaint is that it is an ink HOG. Ink carts are too small and very pricey. Don't try to use non OEM ink. It will ruin your print head, and the cost for repairs will outway the price for the cheap ink. But the printing results and Epson printer interface are the best on the market.

If you are an Artist looking for a cost effective printer which makes quality prints...this is the printer for you. I have had mine for a few years and could not be more pleased with this printer.

Impossible to calibrate colors on an Imac. Tried all different drivers to no avail. Works ok on a pc. Printheads are already clogged. Impossible to unclog. I have had a lot of epson products and always been very happy. This one not so much. Had the same problem with R1800. Thought upgrading to r1900 would solve the problem. But pretty much the same thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this printer. The only problem I have had is when I got it I had windows XP. Then I got a new computer that had windows 7. I updated the drivers just like you are supposed to. The pictures on my computer are still beautiful. Anything I create has beautiful pictures, but when I print them the colors are not right since the update of drivers. Maroon is purple and most everything I do for the kids sports has that color. So needless to say I have not used it a lot since the Windows 7 computer.

This is an extremely great printer besides the ink beign a bit expensive for not so many prints. Great exporting of high resolution files.
