Set Up Epson With Windows 7

The Epson Website is useful, and the installation helped me to find it easily since my computer is instantly connected to the internet. Therefore the link provided by Epson on disk (driver) worked immediately.
When installing the printer, try to make sure you have your internet on so links may work.
Also, your anti virus programs will need to be turned off, and most will offer a 10 or 15 minute option so that they will turn back on in case you forget.

Beautiful Big and Bright

The R1900 makes spectacular large photos. I have only just started to make enlargements of some of my favorite photos - Yosemite, Mt Hamilton, Alum Rock Park, etc. - but the reproduction is spot on. Absolutely perfect! I recommend using Epson Premium paper - the 5 star for the best results. I set up the printer in no time and the options for print are easy to understand. I think what I am most pleased with is that the printed photo is precisely what I am looking at on my monitor - really exact color reproduction.

Outstanding Large Format Glossy Photo Printer!

I've used the Epson R1900 for two years now. It continues to out perform all of my friends photo printers when it comes to glossy prints. The CD printing function is very useful in making professional looking CD/DVD's that my family enjoy. I've found the flesh colors spot-on as are natural colors. A friend is a professional photographer and he is also impressed with the quality of the glossy color prints. Epson has other better suited printers if you are printing B&W or Matt prints exclusively, but for my money the R1900 is currently the finest printer available for glossy photo prints. The only drawback is the high cost of ink cartridges. However, you can reduce this cost by purchasing in bulk via a well known auction site. I do not recommend purchasing non-epson inks as they simply will clog and ruin you print head. If you keep with OEM inks, the printer will give you many years of trouble free gorgous prints!

Incredible prints!

The prints that I am able to get from this printer are incredible! They have been award winners. The colors are vibrant, rich and true, and the printer is easy to operate. An 11x14 high quality print prints in very little time. I have even had great success printing on quality watercolor paper and producing beautiful note cards. When I want to save on ink, I print draft copies of documents. I recommend this printer to anyone needing to print quality prints up to 13 inches wide.

Excellent picture quality. Cartridges are easy to change. I have not experienced any problems with my Espon printer.

Been sitting in the box unused for two years. Just installed it. Easy. Appears to be working fine. Have only printed a windows printer test page so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
