This is my third Epson printer, and I love it! The resolution is very good, the printing quality is consistant and the colors are luscious. Top notch, and worth the cost.

I'd been waiting for a printer that would provide a "special" professional look for clients, family, friends and myself. I knew when I first noticed the R1900 on Epson's website that this was what I wished to own and use. Easy to set-up and use. I own 3 other Epson printers and I Epson scanner. I plan to use the R1900 for special photo and art prints. Thank You!

I LIKE THE PRINTER VERY MUCH THE PRINT QUALITY IS HIGH ,THEREFOR THE IDEA OF DOING LIMITED EDITION PRINTS ARE AT HAND . THE SIZE OF INK CARTRIDGES LEAVE A LOT TO BE DESIRED. WILL HAVE TO EXPERIMENT WITH VOLUME.

Beautful reproduction of photographs with brilliant color. I am very happy with the printer but it is very slow to "boot up" when turning the printer on. Ink cartridges are small and seem to need replacing faster than one would expect. My four star rating, if based on the photo prints alone, would be five stars!

I finally purchased the Photo R1900 Printer after reading countless reviews and comparisions. I was looking for a printer that I could use for 12x12 scrapbook pages as well as to print photos at home. It was easy to set up and install to my computer. I was amazed at the beautiful photos it printed! I believe the quality exceeds the prints I usually get from photolabs. This is a large printer. It takes up space and is heavy too. For me that is not a problem but just be warned, it is going to need a large surface. I would definately recommend this to others who want a wide format printer.

uses too much ink

I've purchased and recommended Epson printers for many years. Compared with the R1800, the R1900 uses up way too much ink. Seems as though I am pretty constantly replacing the ink cartridges. The quality of the prints is excellent, as it was with the R1800, but it's frustrating to have to stop what I'm doing and replace the ink this often. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
