High resolution printing for a printer in this price range. Prints on a variety of substrates with nice results. Manual gives clear setup instructions for usiing this printer with Photoshop. The red, magenta and orange cartridges, plus yellow, and matte and gloss black make your photos really pop. A nice feature is that you can close the printer completely up when not in use. Helps keep dust out of the inside.

This printer is everything you could want, except maybe a bigger one. It performs as advertised. I read several reviews that said it was an ink hog, but I have printed out 50-4x6, 15-5x7, 10-8x10, 6-11x17, and 10-13x19 before running out of the just the gloss optimizer. Can't ask for more than that. Colors are fantastic and the fact that it can take many different kinds of paper including canvas make it the perfect pick for me. I highly recommend this printer.

I am a sports photographer that sets up at minor sports tournaments to capture the action and sell prints. I bought the Epson Stylus Photo R1900 printer last year and was very impressed with the results, colour, clarity and sharpness of this printer. I have just bought a second R1900 printer recently for a back-up as I will be pressed to find another model that is this easy to work with.

R1900 Photo Printer For Large Photo Prints! Super

Received my new R1900 Photo Printer, Set up was a breeze, following their easy laid out instructions. Ink insertion was simple and test run went like a champ. Printed out my first 11x14 print and was amazed with the quality of the finished product. In comparing it to a lab print it is far superior to what their final product was. The colors pop and the warmth of the skin tones was eye catching. I'm looking forward to many more happy results. I'm new with this printers but so far so good, no the best! I will comment more when I have fully tested this new essential item to my photo gear! I would highly recommend this product to date!

Print quality fabulous, better than lab. Drinks expensive ink, heads constantly clog, heads always need realigning. Print program mostly good however, forever clicking "OK", when mostly unnecessary, most annoying constantly having to un-click "Auto enhance" which has ruined many a photo.

Right out of the box, not requiring one color adjustment produced a quality print. I used Epson Luster Paper and compared it to my Epson 3880 (same photo on Luster paper) and the 1900 Rocks.
