This printer prints very well. Prints are clear and concise. Color is true and unblemished. I was worried about the ink, since everyone complained about it, but its not that much worse than any other photo printer. I am very happy with the results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simply an Awesome Printer

It took a little while and about 5 wasted sheets of premium photo paper to figure out the right settings:
- Let Photoshop manage color
- select the right profile for the premium paper
- turn off printer color management
- select the appropriate paper in printer setting
Beautiful high quality pictures! I have been having lots of fun with this printer

Great Printer!

I am an oil painter. I paint figures and landscapes. I have my paintings professionally photographed, download the photographs onto my computer, and then print them onto card stock on my Epson 1900 printer.
I have tried a number of printers -- but this Epson 1900 is absolutely the BEST! It is easy to use, very dependable, and I absolutely love the final results. My note cards have never looked better..... Thanks, Epson!

Nice print quality for the price

This printer is a great deal for anyone needing large format printing at home. With Epson's rebates, the price is right. One word of caution... go easy on the "superior gloss finish". This is a SUPER HIGH gloss finish with highly reflective finish surface. No smudging, but I'm not a big fan of this level of gloss. A satin/semigloss would have been much more appropriate for my use (architectural prints). Other than that, I'm quite satisfied. The feed feature for trimming from roll paper is worth the extra time learning, but otherwise this is an easy printer to use.

Excellent upgrade from the R1800

When my R1800 needed to be replaced, I immediately checked the spec on the R1900. It looked to be everything the R1800 was, and more. So, I ordered it.
In the months since the R1900 arrived, I have printed many kinds of photos, and I've been pleased with all of the results. These are clear, bright and sharp prints. I shoot mostly color, and this printer does a great job of rendering them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The R1900 crushes the 2200 printer

I have used this printer for about 2 months with stunning results. Ya, I would like this printer to use less ink, but if the end product looks great how can I complain. The design of the outside case, which has doors to keep dust and whatever out of the printer, is a plus. Like any other printer it has its quirks, the contrast is a little high, but is very easy to fix. I would like to add, that I used the 2200 epson printer for about 7 years. The R1900 is no joke! You can't go wrong with this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have only had the R1900 a couple of weeks and enjoy it thus far. I also have used the R1800 many years and printed many great pictures. Looking to many years using the R1900

I recently purchased an Epson R1900 because my second R1800 was on the fritz. The printer was very easy to set up and get to printing, however, it really sucks the ink fast. The quality of the output was suitable, however, not breath-taking as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
