High quality prints...

I've owned this printer since May 09. I've printed on various substrates including cotton rag fine art paper, semi-gloss and gloss photo, and matte. The image quality is supurb provided you start with a quality digital image file and choose the right options in the printer utility.
Someone complained the printer has feed problems. The only problem I had was when I tryed to print off a roll. However, that was probably more me than the printer. Have never had problems with sheeted paper, even on 13x19 inch sheets.
This is by far the best printer I've ever owned. Have never regretted my decision to buy the R1900.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I want to give praise to Epson,I have bought none other than Epson,been buyiny Epson products for 8+years. They stand behind their products,and excellant to work with. They will take care of your problem with any item you buy from them. This printer is above and beyond,excellant. All I can say is Epson keep up the good work. Take it from me,you not only get the best product,but the best customer service going. I am a Epson person all the way.

I can't use this printer a professional finish. The photos do not have that perfect finish to them. I have tried different paper and the prints still come out looking dull and a bit smudgy. I find using a smaller epson printer works much more efficient than the 1900 for 4 x 6 prints. Works great for canvas though.

The photo quality is just great on all types of media; suits my purposes just fine as I print for my personal use. I'm having a bit of a problem feeding the higher gsm papers, but I can live with that. Ink cost could be a problem if you do high volume printing, however the cost is offset by the quality you get.
Overall this is one of the best purchase decisions I have made.

I love my R1900!!! I get a smile almost every time I print a photograph because of the colors and rendition of the photo in general. I had purchased another 13x19 printer only to wonder each time I printed something how it would look. Now, I know! I have confidence in almost everything I print. That it'll come out as I hoped and in a lot of cases BETTER than I imagined. One of the features that swayed me into buying this printer is the roll paper option. The 3880 doesn't even have that. I can see myself updating to a larger format Epson when my business allows. For me, it's Epson or nothing. Nope, didn't get paid for saying this either.

Love this printer. Have been using it for only 3 weeks but very pleased with print quality - better than on-line services. The ink is somewhat expensive but I knew that before I bought it. Did my research and selected this printer, but didn't buy it until there was a rebate. It was worth the wait. Sometimes the paper doesn't feed well but overall I would highly recommend this to friends.
