I had recently written a scathing review after owning the unit for ten months as the unit was struggling to hold temperature. If this should happen to you, don't send the unit back if in warranty too soon. Pull the unit out and check the four screens in the rear of the unit to see if they are obstructed with dust. Clean the screens using a vacuum OR remove them, wash them and replace them. Your unit should return to normal operating conditions and hold temperature by the next morning. (In my case, that's exactly what happened).

Dual temperatures are convenient for reds and white wines
Pros: Attractive, Energy Efficient, Precise Temperature, Quiet
We have only had our NewAir wine cooler for about a week at this point, but we absolutely love it. It arrived through FedEx well packed and in excellent condition. After reading through the directions we set the unit up in our dining room and let it sit upright overnight before plugging it in and loading it up. The next day we put our bottles in and adjusted the temperature. It took a few hours for the temperature to adjust on each side, but it has held very well. We did have a couple bottles that were snug fitting on the shelves due to the unique shape of the bottles, but overall we are very excited to finally have this unit and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.
I did so much research on wine frig's that I got confused and accidentally ordered this one (mainly for the type of cooling system it had) before I realized that it was not recommended for under the counter as it does not vent forward. Fortunately, it is not as wide as the one I replaced, so there is sufficient room around it to be adequately vented. We did have some problems with the left side cooling to the appropriate (white) temperature initially, but it seems to have adjusted itself. It is definitely quieter than our previous Liberty frig.

The cooler very easy to broken, I bought the cooler about several month, the right side cooler stop working, so I exchanged a replaced new one, but samething happened again in the exactly same parts. And they don't want to taking care the problem to find out why? So, I strongly not recommend you to buy this item.
I have had this 32 bottle NewAir Dual Zone Thermoelectric wine cooler for two weeks and can now write a review. I did extensive research in buying this wine cooler, and found that the NewAir was a top rated brand. My old Kenmore compressor model developed a very high pitched whine that was maddening, so I had to move it to the spare bedroom where I would need to unplug it when we had guests. After receiving the cooler rather quickly and in perfect condition, I unpacked it, installed the door handles and waited the suggested two hours to start it. It didn't take long to reach 55 degrees on both sides, after which I loaded it. As we only keep a few bottles of white wine, I keep both sides the same temperature. I placed the cooler near our refrigerator, and the fan noise is hardly noticeable. The temperature has remained perfectly stable, and all but a few thicker bottles fit nicely. There is room for the thicker bottles on the bottom shelves, and if necessary the racks can be inverted to accommodate them as suggested by a previous reviewer. I also got a three year extended warantee to insure against failure.
This is my 6th purchase from New Air. I have purchased everything from ice machines to propane heater to wine coolers and everything has been perfect. Great delivery and products.
At first we had this in a closet with no ventilation and it did not function well. We moved it into a more open space in a room with ventilation on both sides and the back. It is now perfect. Very quiet. We didn't want it in a room but because it is so quiet, you barely notice it.
