I would not buy this product again and again.

I use this portable room air conditioner in my summer home. I cannot move a window unit in and out by myself so this is a good solution. However the window bracket did not fit the window size so I had to cut it to fit with a hack saw. If you would include some soft foam with the unit that would help fill in some of the spaces. Also I have trouble with it popping out of the window. Do you people actually try to work with this in a real window? I have another one that is a Delonghi and have the same problem with it. I can forward a picture if you want where I am using it.

where is the kit for sliding glass doors?

Hello,I was given my newair as a gift,normally i have no problems as far as installing anything,however,you dont show anything on how to install the venting system into a SLIDING GLASS DOOR,not a window,their are plenty of videos articles as so forth on how to do that. you cant use the window kit,because it is so flimsy and was not made for doors! So,i am rather annoyed with your lack of getting information for all types of installation areas NOT JUST WINDOWS! so apparently im going to have to go to the hardware store for their suggestions,something that your company should have done! Im assuming the kit for windows will be expensive.is it a nice machine? yes it is,but come on now,instructions should cover every possible way of being done!

I bought this unit to cool our small living room and kitchen area (measured @ 299 sq. ft.). I decided to spend the extra money on a unit rated to cool a much larger area, hoping that it would easily cool the little space. While it does cool it a bit, it sure doesnt do what I was hoping for. It makes the room bearable, so I guess it does its job, but the room is still warm and somewhat uncomfortable. Set up was easy, my wife did it while I was at work. Shipping was quick and I would gladly do business with Air & Water again.

This unit is well built, and cools sufficiently after it gets the room down to temperature. (It took just over 2 days to get the 1,900 Cubic feet cooled down to unit settings) The Ionization Component is not explained, nor the reason for have the Ionization capability??? Anyway, My wife can now do her hair in reasonable compfort.

We bought this for the main level in our home. It cools the living room, dining room and kitchen sufficiently. Very easy to use and install. My only complaint is that it's very loud while running so we're not able to watch tv in the living room while it's running. Other than that we're very pleased.
