Now living in a condo you cannot have box air conditioners in the windows so after doing research online and reading good reviews I chose NewAir as my new air conditioner and am not disappointed. Have had it running non-stop on and off for the past month and no problems. Has kept my room nice and cool and the install only took a few minutes in an average window. The noise is no worse than any home I have been in with these type of air conditioners. Not much louder than a window unit - but I would expect noise - the whole thing is sitting right in the room. I am very please with my purchase and would recommend NewAir to my friends.

Everything as expected...a bit noisy, but they're all noisy...nothing we can't live with. Very easy to set up and install.

Way better then other brands!!

My daughter was using another brand of portable air conditioner to cool her apartment and it just was not doing the job. So I bought her this air conditioner and after one day the temperature in the apartment went from 88 degrees to 73 degrees she was so happy and it made me look like a hero dad :) .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I researched the internet for several months before deciding to purchase the New Air 14,000E commercial grade, portable air conditioner. My decision was based on the customer reviews, the larger coverage area, the longer warranty and the commerial grade construction. After using this for one complete season, from May until November, in a very hot and humid climate; I am completely satisfied with this unit and I am hard to please. The evaporative control function is fantastic! I never empty any water from the unit and no mold forms inside the unit. I always run on the fan only function for a couple of hours, after the cooling function is no longer necessary - just to make sure all of the water is removed from the collector sump. The unit has 4 air filters which are easily cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, and should be on a regular basis. The ionizer is a nice function and works well to control dust and pollen. The poratables are not as efficient as the window units, so a larger unit is desirable for effeicent cooling. Here is an instance where it pays to go overboard a bit in the btu ratings. If you need a 10,00 btu, go for the 14,000. You won't be sorry!

This thing runs all day and night, but doesn't seem to do much of anything except make noise. It's brand new, right out of the box and the air coming out of it doesn't feel any cooler at all

I've use this AC in my home during a hot summer day to help my central AC keep the my house cool. We kept it in the livingroom and it worked perfectly and my house stayed comfortable while my central AC didn't have to work so hard. Lately, I've been using it in my office on weekends because the landlord cranks up the AC to about 83 to conserve energy. The office is 2 rooms totaling 730 SQFT and it keeps the entire place comfortable.

Best AC and best customer service

I did lots of research before I purchased this AC. My biggest concern was getting services in Canada in case anything happens.
Today, I contacted them and they were friendly and fixed my problem right away. No fussing at all.
The product itself, it is the best AC I have so far. I had couple of window AC as well as portable ones but this one really cools down the place.
It’s been little more than a year that I’ve been using this AC , so far very happy with product and customer service.

NewAir AC-14100E 14,000 BTU Portable Air Condition

We bought this for the main level in our home. It cools the living room, dining room and kitchen sufficiently. Very easy to use and install. My only complaint is that it's very loud while running so we're not able to watch tv in the living room while it's running. Other than that we're very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!
