More than expected!

We are using this heater in the exposed basement of an 1856 bank farmhouse. Although the area is a little larger than the 500 square feet advertised, the unit is more than capable of providing a warm workshop area through the cold Pennsylvania winter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this 500 sq ft heater for my detached garage. It does not heat even a portion of my garage. Yes, put your hand in front of it and it is blowing hot air but only on the bottom half. The top half barely feels warm. I do not recommend this product for it's described capabilities.

The unit worked great, then didn't, and when I called support they were quick to offer tips and now are sending out a replacement thermostat even though it's out of warranty. Very appreciated. Would be a waste to have to trash the unit for fault of a thermostat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this heater to replace the same one I have. The thermostat on the existing unit failed. While I have not had the electrician out to the house to swap out the units, the new one I bought got delivered with the box nearly destroyed. I hope that does't affect the heater when it gets installed. Looks like it was banged around pretty good.

So I'm on my 2nd one of these heaters. Heating wise, they work great, but both have had the thermostats fail and the built in shut off failed as well. The first time this happened the temperature in my garage reached 127 degrees. The second time, this morning, the temperature reached 111 degrees. The 2nd unit was a replacement and I assumed the first issue was a fluke and I was lucky that my garage was still standing. There is nothing like walking into a room that is 127 degrees. The company doesn't seem to be overly concerned, but this should concern anyone that doesn't want a fire to occur. The first unit was inside of 2 years old and the the 2nd just inside of 4 years. The end result is that products can wear out, but the safety features should not fail as these have. Notice the high temp on the attached photo.

Beware! The manufacturer does not provide wiring diagram

Bought this unit and went to install it but the manual doesn't include a wiring diagram. Three wires coming out of the unit and nowhere do they identify which wire is which. Contacted that company and customer service representative Elijah responded with "Unfortunately we do not have specific wiring diagrams to send you." You've got to be kidding me!?!? They can't even tell their customers which wires are which. Inexcusable! Suggest others buy from a more reputable company who understands the products they sell and stands behind them.

Waste of Money!

Bought this unit to replace a Newair G80 heater which was even worse than this heater. This heater produces about as much heat as your average hair blow dryer does and would not warm up a 500 square foot area under any circumstance. This is a very cheap, flimsy Chinese made heater that blows Luke Warm air! Don't waste your time or money on any product made by this company!
