After one season, thermostat quit working properly. After reaching temperature, the unit stays running. I disassembled the unit to find the contact points in thermostat are burned and fusing together.
Pros: Easily Adjustable, Good Heating Diameter, Heats Quickly, Portable

Heater is well made, and heavy duty. I use it all the time in my shop, and it heats 525 ft² with no problems at all. Hooks up easily to a 240 volt circuit. I've also found that this heater costs me less to operate than a propane shop heater, which was a nice surprise.
This heater is compact and does a good job. There isn't much to say about an electric heater since 100% of the energy turns into heat. I mounted it about 7' off the floor and the noise is acceptable. The thermostat turns the heater on and off. It hangs on the wall. Construction quality is only fair. Two of the five fan blades were bent forward and hitting the supports for the heating element. The fan would not turn until I disassembled enough of the unit that I could reach the fan blades and bend them back into position. Once I did that, the heater began working well.
I installed this in a 400 sq ft garage...wired directly using 10/2 to a 30 amp 2 pole breaker. It took a little bit to get up to temp in the garage, but it was 7 deg outside this morning and it was 59 in the garage. I keep it on a middle setting for that and it works for me. I havent see how it is for the electric bill yet so I cant comment on it. Its small, but even with opening and closing the big doors it keeps the temp managable to actually go in the garage and do whatever I need to do. I recommend this to anyone needing to take winters sting off working in the garage.
I bought this heater for a 24' x 24' garage that we have almost finished building. The size of the unit is deceiving (truth be told I was skeptical when it arrived) but once we installed our ceiling this heater was able to raise the interior temperature to sixty degrees while it was only in the high teens outside. The construction is all steel and has a very solid feel. The fan unit is quiet compared to a forced air furnace and the adjustable heat control knob works as a thermostat (shutting off the unit when it raises the temperature to the allotted setting). Overall a perfect little heater and a great value for the money. Highly recommended by this buyer.
