I bought this just over 2 years ago and used sparingly in garage. Now fan still runs but heating element is not functional. I didn't expect it to last a lifetime, but bet it has less than 30 hrs on it. Disappointing...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heater does not stay on long enough to heat up even a 145 sq. ft. area. Must less 500 sq. ft. Disappointed with it. Would not recommend this one at all!

Owners manual should have a wiring diagram and not just a statement about hiring an electrician so you can identify the line, load and commons easily.
