I bought one 7-8 yrs back.. STILL WORKS GREAT.. use it all winter.. heats up 500 sq ft area quickly..

Fantastic heater for a workshop or garage

This is honestly one of the best additions to my shop in a long time. I previously owned the 110V Newair heater and it was fine for most cool night but when the temperatures drop really low in the teens, it would run non- stop. This heater however, Heats up my whole shop from the low 50s to the 65 degrees in about 20 minutes. and it only kicks on once an hour to maintain the temperature. My workshop is a 17x19 two car garage and has limited insulation. Only thing that i needed to do different was getting a 220V/30A line run to the shop. but it was well worth it. Honestly, this is a must have if you live in the upper half of US or anywhere in Canada. I'm in NJ and my temps drop down to -5 on some cold nights. must have for anyone who wants to heat their garage quickly and efficiently.

Make your life easier!

If you're like me who works on cars or other projects in the garage constantly, do yourself a favor and consider this unit. I'm not a fan of working in the cold. I have pushed projects back because of the temperature in the garage being too cold. This unit will change things for you and make your environment a lot more pleasant to be in during those cold winter days. Turn it on and walk away for about 15-25 minutes and you'll be welcomed to more comfortable temperatures when you return!

Note the plug and outlet requirements

HEATS 560 SQ FT, not the 800+ I read at first. I added the proper nema 6-30r receptacle, and wired the receptacle to an additional 240v 30amp breaker. The heater makes periodic sounds, but I have only been using for a few days. Heats up my two car garage quickly. More efficient than two 110v electric heaters that would not require this additional outlet install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Product

While shopping around I landed on this website. After talking to a representative I selected this heater. We live in NJ and have a 3 season room and want to heat it from time to time during the winter. This little heater heated our room from 42deg to 65deg in 45min and it was 35deg outside. wow!!! We have only 2 complaints. One, there is no on/off switch (not a big deal). Two, the plug requires an outlet that was very hard to find. My electrician had to visit several stores and was told it was an outlet that is rarely used and therefore discontinued in most stores. Now that it is hooked up we highly recommend this product.
