Does what its advertized

I have a hobby machine shop in a two car detached garage. I have plenty of electic avalible, but some of the coatings Iuse can not have open flame. This heater works great, and is cheap to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Heater

I use these in our 220 foot greenhouse. Getting the plugs wired was a little costly, but it is very convenient since we don't want to pay for gas to get piped in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shipping Sucks!

I cannot review this product because they never sent it. I paid for it 4-weeks ago and it hasn't been shipped out yet. I contacted customer service and they told me they didn't know why it hasn't been shipped (that is just wonderful customer service if you ask me...Just Wonderful).

I've been using this heater to heat a 24x24, 12' ceiling garage. So far I've used it in 30 degree temps and works great! Takes about a half hour or less to make it comfortable. Once I get it to the temperature that's comfortable without a coat, I have to turn it down to about half power. We'll see how it does in a Michigan winter when it's well below freezing temperatures. I'm guessing it will take longer to get heated in the coldest months but will probably maintain the temps well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Northern Indiana. I have a 2 Stall (25x25) insulated residential car garage. I wanted an electric heater instead of propane or kerosene because of the fumes and natural gas because I didn't want to vent it and run both electric and gas to operate it. I looked at tractor supply and local box stores but couldn't find anything on the shelf that was portable that I could set on a work bench. I googled electric box garage heaters and a advertisement for Newair came up. I ordered the G56 (5600 watt) heater and it shipped from California to Elkhart Indiana in 5 days via FedEx. I have only used it twice in the garage so I can was my truck during the winter months. I am extremely happy with how it works. I would definitely buy this again. It heats up my garage pretty quick and shuts off depending on where I set the heat setting. It's not loud, just the sound of the blower motor.
