Fortunately I do not have to review how well it held up in a fire as we are still safe and sound.
It seems like it will protect its contents, it feels strong. It is large enough to hold important papers, jewelry and some irreplaceable pictures. I would recommend this safe to anyone that is looking for

Not happy

I have not been able to get the safe open. I put in brand new batteries. I called support and they told me use a rubber mallet and lightly tap. That did not work. They suggested putting it on its back, adding some weight and waiting several hours. That did not work either. Right now I have a brand new, locked safe.

The safe was easy to get set up, has plenty of space in it and the moveable shelves in it are very useful. It is our second Sentry Safe and additional piece of mind. Also spent less on it than we thought we would have to for a waterproof and fireproof safe.

Expected More, Slightly Disappointed.

The safe gets stuck in the locked position. I’ve learned to lay it on its side (hinge side down) on the carpeted floor, type the code and while turning the handle counterclockwise, bang on the latch side. Also the handle is plastic and feels like it’s going to break or come off when unlocking the safe. I would have expected a sturdier handle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
