So far, so good. But it’s early. I tried - without success, to input a primary and secondary personal combinations per the instructions. Could never get it to take. I plan on giving a family member a shot at it to see if it’s me or the safe. Not too sure what the next step is if it doesn’t work. (The main combo that is assigned by SentrySafe works.). It’s heavy, but can be handled by a single adult. However, I can’t get the personal combos to work returning the safe will be a cumbersome and frustrating task.

I picked up from a retailer after ordering; my biggest concern was dents from delivery. Out of the box the safe was in great shape and opened easily. It was easy to program as well.

The safe came with damaged edges, bulging outside of the case, cracked plastic surrounding the keypad. Additionally, the unlocking handle feels flimsy as it will break if pushed hard. I noticed similar reviews outlined and had assumed Sentry Safe would have corrected these faults.

Damaged and incorrect instructions

The safe came dented. The door pocket/key rack is an extremely fragile plastic that has a broken mounting point. The light on the door is non-functional. Some of the instructions in the manual are just plain incorrect and I had to figure it out myself. It still functions as a safe so not worth the hassle of trying to return a 140 lb box. I didn't expect for so many things to be wrong right from the beginning and it makes me question the company.
