Great toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster oven works great. It heats up lightning fast and cooks quickly. The only thing I would like to see added is a quick stop button for the timer. Once you set it you can't dial the time back or end the timer if something gets done quicker then expected

Easy to Use

I have made toast, brownies, pumpkin pie, and broiled a steak in it. The toaster oven is small but just the right size for me. The instructions make using the oven very easy.

A little piece of toasted heaven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really understood the point of toaster ovens until last month. I thought it was just another appliance to add to the kitchen, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have used my new toaster oven for so many things including reheating chicken wings, pizza, and french fries. I had always been the type to throw leftover fries in the garbage because nobody wants to eat soggy fries. The toaster oven gives your french fries a second chance, with the fresh and crunchy taste. I would definitely recommend this toaster oven to friends and family!

I've been looking for ways to make food quicker, while trying to save energy in my household. A toaster oven seems a perfect way to help out in both areas. I use my full-sized oven for various cooking tasks, but it takes so long to heat up and I can't imagine how much electricity it consumes for lighter cooking tasks. I unpacked my Hamilton Beach toaster oven, finding the oven, a small cooking tray, and a wire rack. This allows different options with the two cooking racks, since the cooking tray fits in one of the slots that the wire rack also fits in.
The oven had a nice preheat feature, where you can turn the timer in a different direction for a timed preheat setting. When the timer is done, the oven is fully ready to start cooking. My first tasks was to cook some pizza rolls for my dinner one night. The oven warmed up to the desired temperature in about five minutes. I put the rolls in, set the timed bake for a about six minutes, then flipped the rolls over for more even cooking another five minutes. So, in about 17 minutes total, my meal was done, in much less time than it would have taken in the regular oven. I probably saved a bit of energy too! I could use the microwave for the same rolls, but they just don't taste the same or have a good texture.
This evening, I needed a quick way to toast a hamburger bun for my dinner. I had it done in about three to four minutes, since I didn't really need it cooked.
I'm wanting to try other things in the oven and I imagine they'll be just as easy and time saving as what I've tried so far!
