Lint Trap

The only negative thing I have to say about the dryer is the lint trap. It isn't flush and rips the spagetti straps off my clothes. :-(

Mostly love

I mostly love my dryer--however, I've had trouble lately with the dryer filter edges catching on tank tops and ripping the straps to shreds therefore ruining them. I've also had a medium sized kitchen rug also catch this filter frame apparently pulling it partially out of it's slot forcing the dryer to shut off (which must be a safety feature--for which i'm glad for). But, it makes me apprehensive to have the dryer running when I'm not home, which is a hassle sometimes.
I love the lights inside the washer and dryer, the chimes, the wrinkle release, the limitless settings and the snazzy Mediterranean Blue color! I just am not thrilled with the dryer filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the dryer- hope it lasts a long time

Overall I love this dryer. The capacity is great, it is quiet. I own the washer/dryer set. We've had them for 16 months. We've had one issue with the dryer...there was an error code that came up and the dryer quit working. We called Electrolux and they told us how to clear the error and said that the error code means the main circuit board is going out.. This occured only once and of course one month after the warranty expired. I feel that Electrolux (as well as many other companies) should stand behind their product and offer a no cost warranty for longer than one year. Dryers should last for many years without issues. SO, I'm slightly concerned about longevity of this dryer. I'd hate to see how much a repair bill will run on this item as it is all pretty much electronic.

A very beautiful appliance however they do not do the job like a front loader and they dryer takes forever to dry your clothes.

Had this dryer and matching washer for over 2 years now. I believe that electrolux stands by their products but in the 1st 13 months of owning the dryer the heating element burnt out 3 times and the hose on the washer cracked, because the warranty expired within a week they did cover the expenses, but having my new washer and dryer repaired 4 times in a 13 months period has turned me off to all electrolux appliances forever. They offered me an extended warranty which I took and so far no problems but i can not recommend their products sorry
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
