Worth every penny

When we bought our home 18 months ago, we splurged on the blue Electrolux front-load washer and dryer. They are still functioning as well as they did when new and are as quiet as ever. We had a small glitch with the soap dispensing drawer on the washer, but Electrolux provided prompt service and we did not miss a load that week.
The high capacity helps to minimize the amount of time it takes to do the wash for our family of four. Too bad that they don't fold clothes, too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washer & Dryer

Bought these about 6 months ago. They are very quiet compared to my old ones. The different wash functions cover everything you could possibly need. Dryer works great everytime. The Washer on the other hand never finishes a cycle says no water even though theres water in the drum and when its restarted it flows just fine. Usualy it takes 3 trys to finish a single load of laundry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this washer and dryer set. They are very pretty (we got blue ones) and do a good job cleaning. However I would change 2 things:
1) Doors: the hands-free operation of the doors is not the best. The rubber seal on the inside grabs the door and I have to pry it open with my fingertips. I would much rather have a handle.
2) Put in your operating manual how to get the wash vane off so we can get our change out ourselves without having to call for a service tech. The last service tech said that it was easy to do and manufacturers should put directions in the manuals.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
