What a printer! I Love It!!!!

The price is wright; the all in 1 features are supurb; the printing speeds are smookin; the use of ink is workable; and I believe the only con on this baby is the start up noise on the printer, but with the price and quality of the printer...I'm gonna hang on to this until the printing wheel falls off!! Peace!

Great machine w/one drawback

I love this machine. My husband got it for me for christmas and I fell in love with it. The only drawback is the ink. It says that one cartridge should average about 250 pages, however, mine have run out after only 75 pages. But overall a great machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson sells a printer and then can't keep in stock. I got this printer and going to send it back do to it uses way to much INK. The large INK can only be bought from Epson and not at any store.

Good printer, with some limitations

Good print quality and pretty much capable of anything you'd need a home printer to do. Haven't noticed the ink consumption problem some have reported, but the ink cartridges are rather expensive and Office Depot (at least) will not give you a recycling credit, saying they're not refillable. Negatives: Wish I'd noticed the paper tray loads vertically from the back, would much prefer a horizontal tray accessible from the front. With my printer platform I have to stand on my head to add paper. Also the ADF is very cranky and jams with more than just a couple of pages. Haven't used it to receive faxes, but it sends them just fine as long as the ADF doesn't jam on you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thing has tiny ink cartridges that run out extremely fast. The ink is expensive. WORST OF ALL THE PRINTER WON'T WORK UNLESS ALL CARTRIDGES ARE FULL!!

Don't buy this thing!

I bought this printer ~5 months ago. I don't do that much printing, but already have had to replace all the ink cartridges (expensive) & now it doesn't work at all. I have sent & received faxes successfully, but it is temperamental in that the document feeder jams easily & now when I try to replace the yellow ink cartridge, the carriage will not move to the service position where I can replace the cartridge. I liked it at first, but as time wore on (not very much time) I began to dislike it. I'm going to do all I can to have this replaced or get my money back. (I am a technician for a worldwide copier/camera/fax company. I might have bought a product from the company I work for, except that they're expensive and, believe it or not, we don't get an employee discount! I had hoped to get a good, all-around printer/fax/copier/scanner, but I think maybe I'll have to go with a different model/company).

Worst Printer EVER bought

I have had this printer 8 months and had it replaced 3X. It continues to go through ink even when not used. New installed ink shows only 80% left. Would NEVER BUY another printer like this. Customer service at Best Buy and Epson is outstanding. Product stinks.

It's okay

The printer is okay as far as it goes. I have two issues that will prevent me from buying Epson again unless I hear they change these two things. 1) If any of the color cartridges are out of ink, you can't print in black even if the black cartridge is new! I hate this! 2) The paper handler is noisy and difficult to load.
Also the paper has to be very well lined up in the vertical hopper to feed properly. Annoying, but workable.
