The only complaint I have about the Work Force 500 is that when sending multiple sheets using the Fax function, the feeder jams. You then have to find the jam, clear it and start the Fax function all over again.

I am very happy with the printer with one exception. It is very noisy when printing. The printing is very good.

Its my 4th machine that I have now from Epson. epson stylus photo 1200 my older one; Stylus photo R-800; epson stylus 740i; and now the work horse; sorry; workforce 500 that I use in a regular basis for cheap ink price and afordable productivity. (all in one its a plus) I start long time ago (epson stylus photo 1200) and still doing great pictures.- The Epson quality its superb; I am a photographer and my research since the begining of the digital photography was to get the best of the best. Epson in my opinion its the standard of the industry in quality, colors, and photo resolution.- Now I have a business in graphic industry and Epson is ringing the bells with Seiko large format machine; excelent colors; resolution and afordable productivity.- Definitely I recomend this machine; a little noise but I don't care anyway is for office use and its doing the job very well. thanks.

this is a fast printer, but it goes through ink so fast, to quick. It does ok for labels, but if you try to do decals, the ink runs. when you choose pink, it comes out purple, etc.

worth the price

I could not swing the higher end printer in the epson series, but this one for the price is just right. I am a design student in graphic and web design, so this is not going to print the high quality that I am looking for, but from what I have seen, I can't complain. Setup is easy and straightforward, with no known issues I read in some other reviews. Ink does run out a little quicker than I had hoped, but welcome to the world of printers. Overall, this is my first epson purchase, and I have no regrets. Epson by far holds the standards that designers in graphics are looking for. Now I just need to be able to afford their professional imaging printers. If you want an all-in-one for a great price and quality, this would be the right choice.

Don't buy it unless no other

Body case is thin. Uses too much ink. Programmed to default to color. You Must go in to the printer program each time you print to set it on BLACK ONLY. You can't just do it on the copier. Photo program does not always print as directed.
