I have owned most name brand printers but this by far the best one I have owned. This workforce 500 does
everything I will need. I really appreciate the instructions that came with it, most of the other brands only gave very sketchy details if any.

I've purchased a lot of all-in-one printers and this one is the best one so far. It's really easy to operate and the picture quality is excellent. Everything overall is just great.

The WorkForce 500 is my first Epsom hardware because I have been using another brand for many years. I am amazed at the nunber of excellent features for such a reasonable price. I haven't even used them all yet.

good basic all-in-one

The WorkForce 500 is a good basic all-in-one printer with most of the useful features of others of this type. Print quality is good, especially for digital photos if using higher quality Epson paper. It goes through ink a bit faster than other all-in-ones I've used, but is generally worth the extra ink cost in terms of the quality of output. I feel the scanning function is rather limited in scope, so I don't end up using it to scan documents where I need high resoution. Otherwise, it's a great printer so far.

Excellent-But...

The print quality and ease of use is great. This is a top quality product. But...figuring out how to use the features is a genuine pain. The instructions are buried in a 127 page document you have to access via computer. Why can't Epson provide an easy 10 page pamphlet with "How To's".? Then you could use the machine like a consumer instead of like an engineer. My son writes these pamphlets for other companies, and they de-mystify the user experience.

Great Quality

I really like this printer. I have a home office so I use it for a LOT of different things. It has great quality and fast printing. It was not as easy as others that I've had to set up, but once I figured it out, it's been a great printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
