Good for the price

I purchased the WorkForce 500 for the value and got a very good printer scanner. The set-up of the 5-in-1 was very easy. For the print quality it is good for a small office center. I wouldn't recommend the printer for high coping or scanning. The ink is the only problem that I see, the cartridges does not last long and the price is a little high for the volume. Over all I would recommend the printer for scanning or copping less than 50 page a week.

I have been using the 500 unit for several weeks and am completely satisfied with its performance. For the money, I feel this is a genuine value added piece of office equipment. My primary uses are printing, copying and sending faxes all of which are done with dispatch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Way too noisy

Nice printer overall but it took almost 45 minutes to download the program for the enclosed CD and everytime the printer prints it starts off with a very load noice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Low Cost Multifunction

I have printed many pictures with this and find the results are better than expected. The included software package is very complete. I have not used all the fatures yet but what I have used is well done. Install is a breeze and fairly quick. The card readers are handy as I have 2 digital cameras. As with all color printers of this caliber, expect to use a lot of ink if you use the highes quality setting.

I have printed pictures and cd covers on this printer and have gotten very good quality and the scan features are easy to work with and the quality of the scans are also excellent. The picture color restore is also an excellent feature and works very well. I would go out and buy the same printer tomorrow if I would have to. The only drawback is that it does use up the ink in short periods of time, but I have not bought the extra capacity cartridges yet.
