always looks dirty

Oven works well, heats decently. I like the digital features.Biggest complaint- the black glass stove top always looks greasy/dirty, and requires a lot of cleaning. Must use glass-top cleaner to prevent scratching. We've used the appliance for less than a year, and the oven light is already out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

30-inch Freestanding Electric Range

This is an average flat top cook stove. We struggle to get the temperatures on the cook surface where we need them so we don't burn the food or splash over on the surface. I guess we prefer cooking with a gas stove. The stove is fine if you prefer cooking with an electric stove. As with most stoves, it does take a lot of effort to get the surface clean after spilling on it.

Two years ago I purchased another brand of electric stove, we had an electrical problem and my stove burned up so I had to replace it. I wasn't quite satisfied with that purchase so I decided to try another brand, a little less expensive. WOW! Am I glad I changed! This stove, significally less expensive is made much better. The knobs are not chinsey. I wipe out the inside of the stove, even before self cleaning and it cleans up pretty nicely. I would definately recommend this stove to anyone. I cook alot and I love it!

This is an attractive appliance, however the top takes a little work to clean as its glass surface often looks hazy. A short time after installation, the oven light needed to be replaced. It cooks well.

This oven was supplied by the builder. It does what is supposed to do, but very few extra features. If something goes wrong with this one, I would definitely upgrade with other Whirlpool stoves. It works well.

Awesome Oven.

My wife and I had never owned a new oven until we bought this one. I will never settle for an older model again after using this one for almost six months. Not only does it make our kitchen look 100% better but it works 100% better than anything i have ever used. We both love to cook and we have enjoyed the ease of use and functionality of this oven. we use it constantly and never have to worry about uneven temperatures on the cooktop or the oven. It also preheats extremely fast and is easy to clean. We love it!

This product is better than I expected

I am very happy with the electric range. I never had a self cleaning oven but always wanted one and am not disappointed. I haven't had any issues with size or capacity. The top is fine. I clean it with the stove top cleaner made for this product and as long as I do it a couple times a week it is fine. In fact the top looks better than our previous stove because my husband cleans up after his spills too.I wanted a basic electric self cleaning stove and that's what this is. No complaints.
