A wonderful appliance which surpassed my expectation.

We went to the appliance store looking for a microwave oven and a wall oven to replace the old ones that we needed to replace.. We didn't realize that such a combination appliance existed, and now that we have it we count it a real blessing. We are still experimenting with all of the uses of this wonderful new addition to our kitchen. My wife and I have been married for over 57 years and this is one of the nicest appliances that we have ever owned. I wanted an oven that my wife could use while standing instead of bending over and I got it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought all new whirlpool appliances for my home a year and a half ago, and this microwave has given me about 7 months working life before the magnatron went again, for the third time. There seems to be a great deal of problems with this microwave's magnatron. I'm very upset to have spent so much money on this product and the repairs, for so little service time. Now I still need a new microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Magnetron went out twice in 2 years. Very disappointed! This appears to be a very common complaint.

The best stove that I have ever owned!

The stove has a very straightforward design. Cleaning the stove takes a little effort; due to the grates, but is worth the time. The full coverage grates make it a simple task to move things around with little effort. The oven preheats very fast and has you cooking in a very short time. I really like the notification window that lets you know; with a message and audible tone, when to put your items into the oven, be it one or two racks. This is a real time saver, since you don't have to be constantly monitoring its status. If your looking for a time saver for stove top cooking, this is the unit you want. The 5 burners give a wide selection of heat setting to get whatever you want done fast and precisely. The power burner gives you fast heat and lots of it, while the simmer burner gives you a lower heat with a wide range of settings. I purchased the Stainless version and love the fact that it is not all stainless(top is enameled), which makes maintenance a little easier. There is enough stainless that you get the look you want though. I have not had to use the self cleaning option yet, but that is because I like to clean as I go. I did extensive research on this unit and have not been disappointed with the choice.

Oven won't hold temperature

The week before Thanksgiving, with a turkey to roast and pies to bake, the oven decided not to hold temperature Second time this has happened since we bought it a year and a half ago.. 2 service calls later, and consultation with Whirlpool tech support, and the oven still doesn't work right. Igniter decides to fail once in a while resulting in a 200 degree oven whose display says 450. Of course it's out of warrantee. So far have spent half the cost of the range for repairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this gas range. The power burners are great for boiling water/cooking big dishes. The small burner in the center of the range hardly sees any use because its impossible to fit 5 pots on the stove at the same time (unless its 5 small sauce pans). I also wish the power burners had more of a range from high heat to low. It's great to bring large dishes to a boil but difficult to simmer, the lowest dial setting is still like a 'medium'. The oven is superb. The top is easy to clean since you can pull off the grates in 2 sections. Great product!
