Poor Performance

I have had this range for 4 years and have had several service calls/repairs for burner issues, drawer not staying on track and oven failing to light. Thank goodness for an extended warranty. In the past 6 weeks I have had the oven fail to ignite 3 times, each time needing a service call. After replacing the ignitor it happened again. Each time I had to wait 5-7 days for an appointment. then a week for parts and repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave function dropped dead

Bought in 2010, but for a summer vacation home where it gets light use for only two months a year, so its actual age at death last Fall was about 14 months at most. We were going to call our excellent repairman but, according to the reviews, the problem is most likely the magnetron and a replacement will also fail in a short time, so we'll have to spring for purchase and installation of new micro-convection, which very definitely will NOT be a Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
