It functions like all the other android phones that I have used. I hate that it doesn't have smileys or any symbols (hearts, emoticons) would make life so much easier if the phone came loaded with them, or something that we could get from the play store and not using the emoji app thing because it messes with the keyboard. I hate that even when you go to use the speak to text, if doesn't work if you have no cell service. A great feature that I wish the phone had would to be able to make a kind of folder on the screen that opens another screen that I can put all of my 'photo edit apps' into instead of having 3/4 screens on the phone main background. A little more organization on it if you will. I wish the phones still came with a manual to show you how to use certain features in the phone because there are many things I'm unaware of how to shut off, like it doing the asterisk when I use a swear word or when it does the auto correct and picks whatever word it wants too rather then the word you wanted it too.

The phone has truly great features

The only problem is that the UI designers use too much of the screen. They have placed the letters for the contacts searching too close to the frame and unless you have fingers the size of children's you won't get the letter you desire. Many of the screens do not accommodate finger space along the edges of the interfaces.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: designed to the edges

I've always been an iPhone user...since 2009! The transition form the iPhone to the Samsung was so simple! AMAZING phone, can't wait to upgrade to the 5!

I've always been a Samsung purchaser I love Samsung products I have a samsung galaxy s3 and it's amazingit makes my life a lot simpler Thank You Samsung you guys have the best products I recommend that everybody at least have one Samsung product see how amazing and life changing it is
