I'll keep this as simple as possible. I wanted a new tv, and I wanted it to be a smart tv. So I started shopping around and found this one, which is nicely priced, and had all the smart features. I love the plasma for it's superior viewing angle and more vivid color.
All the smart features are easily accessible and very intuitive. I replaces several remotes when I got this tv. I can also control the tv with the LG remote app on my cell phone, which is amazing. I can use my phone to search for youtube videos, add them to the playlist and they stream directly to the tv and out of the surround sound. It's just amazing. I couldn't be happier. It takes up half the wall in my apartment. If you get this tv, you will be very happy, and you wont have to spend 2 grand. Think about it. It's a great idea.

Words cannot describe how satisfied my family and I are with this TV (LG Plasma Product Number 60PH6700). We spent months reviewing television sets and zeroed in on this model. Absolutely no regrets.
First, it is a great value for the money spent.
Second, the clarity of picture is spectacular, particularly for live sporting events..
Third, the ease of learning the features is important for a technically challenged person such as me.
Fourth connecting auxiliary devices (Blue-Ray; Home Theater, etc.) is simple.
If you are in the market for a solid investment in a Plasma "Smart TV" run to your favorite retailer and buy this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I absolutely LOVE it! I do not like that it has a limited selection of apps & it also doesn't have the ability to download apps that I am interested in (such as "Dish Anywhere", Facebook, etc.) + I've not found a means of mirroring it from my Android phone. The internet browser doesn't seem to load pages very fast either & it doesn't allow me to change browser (to "Firefox", etc.) either...
Pros: ease of use, Performance, Quality

I have had the set for a few weeks now and I am completely satisfied. I was somewhat concerned about a plasma TV before purchase. Those (other brands) that I've seen in stores looked dim compared side by side to an LCD or LED set and some reviews comment about image burn in so that was a concern before I had this set. But now I am fully sold. The SMART features are incredible and I have to add to the accolades for the remote.
The 3D is amazing but does take a bit of getting used to.
One of my favorite features is the On Now feature which lists the shows on my cable provider in a clear and easy to navigate manor.
For the price I was going to be satisfied with nothing more than a good picture. This set has a great picture and its features were icing on the cake.

I purchased the LG after several weeks of research & in store browsing. I initially order a competitors product but it was damaged in shipping & being without a TV for several weeks I decided to just go & buy. I do not regret my choice, picture clarity is fantastic. We new to smart TV's & are still playing with some of the features, the magic remote seems to be a little squirrely & hard to control but manageable. I would definitely recommend, great product & value for the price

It is a 3d active TV. I find it a very good tv. Greate pic and fun to watch. I do not like active 3d because it gives me a headache.
