it fits the I pad very well, and seems to even amplify the sound when my son plays a video or music. On top of that, he has dropped his I pad on 3 occasions at home and didn't even blemish the I pad . He is Autistic and uses it to communicate with his family.. It may be costly at first, but when you have bought not one but two I Pads due to dropping on the screen, what is charged for this protective case vs another I Pad, it is a worthwhile investment

Double sided tape? Seriously?

The metal plate on the back is only held on with double sided tape. I'm surprised that I'm the only person who has had a bad experience with this but it is a new product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
