We have used this unit with mostly wall mounting uses as well as a closet mount for equipment. This unit affords you to not only have additional equipment near your flat panel but also keeps it very neat and tidy. It allows us to conceal the ugly part of the install which is WIRES. With the unit being black the components seem to disappear and you really only see the faceplates of the equipment such as the dvd player and cable box.
Pros: Component Fit, Appearance, Wire Concealment, wife appeal
