Good Space For Size But NOISY!

Fridge makes much more noise compared to 12 year old GE it replaced, compressor motor turning on and even shutting off is annoying to say the least. Features and space for this size fridge are good, ice holder on the door is very easy to use. Having external water filter is a big plus when it comes time for replacement, overall after a couple months I am happy with the purchase but Whirlpool needs to work on sound levels with this unit.

I am extremely happy with the refrigerator. I had difficultly finding one that would fit the space in my kitchen design. This one was just perfect.

Love the ice on the door feature with the lockout for young ones. Roomy shelves and features on the door for large containers. Quiet and very efficient.

I didn't think I'd have enough room in a side/by/side. I am so pleasedthat I was wrong. More than enough room in both the refrigerator and freezer.

I bought this refrigerator in January 2011 after having my older one for 18 years. It is very quiet and fits my space just right. I would have liked having a larger one but didn't have a large enough space. I like the smaller drawer for cheese. The ice maker has worked well but does jam once in a while. It is not hard to unjam. The speed at which it makes more ice is very satisfying. I would recommend this if you needed a smaller refrigerator.

Regretful purchase

This has been a problem for us since about 1 year after buying it. The ice maker had issues that was fixed only to have it happen again. First, it wouldn't make ice. And now, the ice freezes in the bin. I have to chop up the ice just to be able to get ice from the dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
