Mediocre at best but looks great

Works great when it works. It is reasonably quiet and my dishes are clean when they come out. But this thing is constantly breaking down. I personally think there is a design flaw.

Nothing but trouble

It took a total of 9 visits from GE repairmen to get this dishwasher working properly.

Very nice looking and quiet

I am happy with the way our new washing machine looks, and really like how quiet it is. However, the space inside the unit is not big enough. The water spinning blade, or whatever the rotating spin arm is called, hits dishes or silverware and gets caught. This happens with the blade mounted to the bottom of the upper rack. It catches on plates and knives and gets stuck. This sometimes leads to a bad wash. More space is needed between the rack to make sure there is enough room to function properly.

Problems with this model dishwasher

We purchased this high end dishwasher from GE because we wanted a quiet running and maintenance free washer. We have had nothing but problems. The directions stated the dishwasher should be completely level, front and back. The tech had it completely leveled but the door would not shut. The tech worked a number of hours and still the door would not shut. I purchased a security device and propped it against the door and it shut. When it was running it was very quiet and the dishes came out extremely clean. The dealer has another of the same model ordered and when it arrives it will be installed shortly thereafter
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
