Really happy with our choice in this dishwasher. It does an excellent job cleaning all the dishes, even fully loaded with post-holiday dinner dishes! Another perk is how quiet it is, the first time we used it we were sure it was on because it was so much quieter than our previous dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't clean dishes very well

This dishwasher does not hold anywhere near the number of dishes as our previous dishwasher, but it cleans about the same--not very well. There is no way you can put all the dishes in the dishwasher as the manual states and still get clean dishes. If we want dinner plates to come clean, we have to stack them with a space in between so we can only clean half the number of place settings. Also, we've had this dishwasher for 9 months and we still have not figured out a way to put serving bowls in the dishwasher and have the bowls come out clean. Sorry, but I will not purchase another GE dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cleans well and runs quietly

I'm happy with the performance but it broke after on a couple of months and I had to get a new part. The new part was also broken. This was purchased at an outlet so I'll be optimistic and say it was probably mishandled but the replacement???

Washes pretty well, occasionally have to re-run a dish, not every load. We have relatively soft water, so that helps. Runs so quietly, that without the small light at the top of the door, I would not know it was running unless I was standing next to it and listening carefully. The house background noise covers the dishwasher noise almost 100%.
